Having a meditation practice that just grounds my nervous system and helps me to be present in the moment really helped with learning to eat intuitively. I learned how to slow down and recognize cues and recognize hunger cues instead of just being in this constant state of fight or flight kind of distracted robot mode where you know I'd be eating because I was hungry instead of my body telling me what it needed if that makes sense. The most important commitment that I make to myself every day is meditating and taking time out of my busy schedule to use the calm app so calm is the number one mental wellness app.
