The One Mediator of God's Grace
The church makes it absolutely clear that Jesus is the one mediator between God and man. Just as the priesthood of Christ is shared in various ways, both as ministers and faithful, he shares that priesthood with me like an ordained priest. The reason why we can even do what we're doing is because Jesus does not hoard this mediation. He doesn't hoard his goodness. He shares it and invites us to participate in it. We give God praise because she is not only mother of the church. She is your mom and she is my mom.
