The trial began in moscow on june eighth, 19 22. It was held in a ball room that had been used by the nobility during the old regime. The court would meet six days a week, with an early session running from noon until five p m. And an evening session convening at seven o'clock and running to midnight. All three of the judges were members of the communist party.Whenever defence counsels or defendants attempted to speak, the spectators subjected them to jeering and cat calls. This was meant to be the revolution putting its enemies on trial.
