GI Dysfunction and Parkinson's Disease - What's the Mechanism?
Vincent: I wanted to ask if we if this is correct and it still needs more work. What's the mechanism? How does the nerve impulse turn on? That was my question. Can you map out for us either like physical connections, you know, like where axons are projecting, etc. And then potentially like, what kinds of factors, neuropeptides or cytokines are being commute are communicating between the neurons and whatever other cell type is. The synaptic connections between the insular cortex and those autonomic nerves, I think is is also somewhat understood by other people than me.
