Alcoholism and Sleep Apnea

A lot of people have alcohol as a so called nightcap. When you can see m alcohol, you do tend to fall to sleep slightly faster. Alcohol will also increase h portion of deep sleep early in the sleep period. People who drink heavily are more likely to go on to develop sleep apnea. Non alcholic beer, because of its hop content, can actually support sleep health.
