The History of the Vikings

Vikings started to aggressively colonize and expand into britain in several distinct groups with different leaders. Some of these leaders, it seems, claimed that they were sons or descendants of rognar lothbrook but we can't really verify that for certain. And the violent raids and attacks stopped for several decades. For some reason, in the year 835, the raids resumed. Maybe simply because those norse controlled lands had grown too crowded,. There was now again, an excess population of men who wanted wealth, power, land. So there was another period of relative peace, until then the sudden appearance of a new invasion force, a large, organized invasion force, in the
