We are less than a century away from kind of the projection that human beings will eventually starve to death. But what happens in this is that, like so many other elements of people's lives, it goes from a direct relationship with people who grow it into factory systems. You get canned, goods ight, you get themas production applied to it. And this, to me, is fascinating, because it is a time where people, even the words don't have to have a precise meaning and they can be taken literally.
