The Purification of Water in John's Gospel

John went to a place where there was plenty of water and was able to baptize. John also was baptizing in enon, near salim, because he could immerse. There arose a dispute between some of john's disciples and the jews about purification. The priests had to be washed before they entered into their service. In leviticus, chapter 15, there is a necessity to be washed. And sowa, what you had to do was go to these, yes, these locations where there were ritual baths, and you would wash yourself in them. Then you would wait until sundown and then you would be ritually clean.
