The Variation in Responses to Vegan Diets
There is huge intra-individual variation in responses to vegan diets. Plants contain a lot of precursor nutrients that need to be converted into the most active forms for us to get the full benefit. Some people can do well on a 100% plant-based diet, but you introduce a lot of risk if you're also eating pre-formed foods like retinol or K2 instead of just ALA.
