The Importance of Identifying AKI
Kidney injury is often not as evident as respiratory failure or needing an nasal cannula. It's very common when a baby has kidney injury, families don't know. Blood pressure checks, urinalysis to make sure that they're not developing protonuria can kind of keep us ahead of the game and prevent them from developing advanced CKD without us knowing it.
