The Role of Age in Language Use
Like use peaks in adolescence and then tends to reduce as people go into adulthood. People at a certain age at lessons tend to use features that are new in novel, especially if they're sort of rebellious and nonconformist with adult norms. So I think this worry that all of a sudden if you use like, you're going to become this like speaking monster is probably not going to happen.
