The best definition i know of christian mysticism is, christian mystics are those who want to experience what is true of them theologically. Christian contemplation is attempting to become who you are in christ and experience what christ purchased for you on the cross. In prayer, it's all about prayer. It's all about union with god, you know. I define a rule of life as a schedule and a set of practices that organize our life around ding us to live in alignment with our deepest desires. And so that's what a rule oflife is. It's just a way of living. We need some kind of a support structure to get us up from things that are a threat
