Isn't God Sending You Your Rains?
Deuteronomy 11 says, i will send you your rains. The word in hebrew here is a word hesed. It can mean kindness or loving kindness, or sometimes it's translated as mercy and things like that. So we have imigrants going into moab, and then some of the moabites are going to come back with ruth,. particularly from moab, back into israel. That becomes important, cause although initially moab is seen as a place of plenty for them, it becomes eventually a place of barrenness.
