The Importance of a Different Relationship With the Book
I think for me it was about not that it kind of tidied something up and puts it away, but it brings you into a slightly different relationship with it. But I would say that I haven't ever felt settled. It was my becoming a writer, it was very unexpected. Let alone the kind of stranger things further down the line that make you even less settled like it being translated. So I feel like I'm on firm ground and then I'm suddenly a very marshy ground and might drown the strangeness of it.
