The Advantage of Growing Up in Porto Rico
Coming from a spot like porto rico with such a powerful wave, having it prepare you and other surfas for somewhere like hawaii is a huge advantage compared to orange county. But once we started going to hawaii, i felt like, kind like that was my second home. I felt so used to te surfing the reef breaks and and feeling that sensation of how you feel when you're serfing bigger waves. It definily made me realize, ok, if i want to go to these places, i really have to work on my small wave game.
