A runners world survey shows that forty three per cent of women report being harassed while out on a solo run. 18 per cent have been sexually propositioned, and 3 per cent say they've been physically assaulted when running alone. "I can count the times that i haven't been verbally harassed more than i can count," says runner Victoria Boulden who has had to defend herself from harassment during her runs. 'That lurking feeling that something bad might happen to you when you're out 're doing the thing that you love to do just plain sucks,' she adds.
