George Baker was converted into Father Jehovah, who didn't really have a church. He wanted to create this land of equality through his teachings but not have a specific structure or church. Eventually he wanted to take over and really kind of have it himself. The movement imploded right when the split happened in 1912. It's very Gnostic in a sense as well, which is very denial of the flesh.
