The Fed Open Market Committee's Expectations for Inflation

Two years ago, the Federal Reserve Open Market Committee was expecting inflation to be 2.4%. That's a huge miss. In 2021, they assumed inflation would come in at 2.4%, and then rise a little bit in 2023. The two-year inflation expectation was only 4.5%. Actual inflation has been 14%.
