The Minotaur is in the labyrinth for a good reason. The original act of repression and now I'm reminded even in Black Panther, Killmonger is the Bruno slash. It's that which we think is shameful and bad and wrong. And it makes sense for people in their lives to put away their traumas and anxieties at everyday life. You destroy the cruelty and the neediness and the fear associated with the Minotaurs by making them friends.
