The Importance of Neutral Typefaces
I have projects where people see that the typeface isn't working because they're not sure why, but it's not working in a way they wanted to work. A lot of people are very emotional about fonts and when it comes to choosing typefaces. So this isn't something that nobody is seeing. The thing is, if you use something very neutral or expected in a way then you blend in more with the others. It can be a good thing, but it also can be a bad thing.
