When a muscle contracts, it creates force. It also creates stiffness, which stops movement. The ones with the bigger muscles end up pushing their punches and are slower because they use muscles. So the ones who strike the hardest are the ones who create the pulse of strength to create enormous velocity. And then when they hit the target, their body turns to stone.
