How to Be an Effective Altruist in Foreign Policy
If your goal was to do the single most effective actions, kind of in an effective altruist way for foreign policy, I think that starting a think tank or working for a think tank is probably one of the most impactful things you can do. I think you could also even think about getting a job in the state department or as a congressional staffer. Those things are really influential. There's a particularly high degree of influence, I think, on issues that are not hard as encoded.
