The Ground Zero of Hip Hop
"I'm not going to take credit for being at the ground zero of skateboarding, punk rock, or hip hop," he says. "When I got into it is right before it started getting really big and I helped make that happen in some ways." He was there with dead Kennedys and black flag when they were first playing. The Beastie Boys are his entree into hit pop because he knew them prior.
