The movement you're hinting at is people over publishers. The idea that an individual can build their own audience and either build a larger company around that launching products, whether content based or otherwise. And I mentioned Bill Simmons very briefly. He was a writer forever at ESPN. They're most read ever. He leaves and now he's basically building his own little mini empire.
