The Effect of Exostosis on Bone Growth
Exostosis is the formation of additional bone from the surface of an existing bone. Exostoses are not benign in the fact that they're not problematic, they're just not malignant. They can still be symptomatic and you are probably already familiar with a phenomenon of exostosis because another word often used for it is bone spurs.
