Is Your Manager Responsible for Your Career?

Make it clear to your manager what you're trying to do and accomplish. Be a little bit more pro active in that, go outside of your normal job responsibilities. Internal can be great, and i recommend internally, being also someone different than your boss. It's always nice to just ask, ok, you know, doing things that i'm interested in learning more about? And sometimes i feel it ble awkward to start a proactively mentorship relationship with an ex-coach or mentor.
