Marcus Mariota has left the team and there's no indication or on when or if he will return. Head coach Arthur Smith announced that the team had made a quote performance based decision to bench Mariota in favor of third round rookie Desmond Ritter. All right so just to clarify there is a quote unquote chronic knee injury that's leading to the team putting Marcus Mariota on IR but that doesn't pass the smell test Greg.
