The DEA Investigates Donna's Criminal Case

In March 2020, two months before she said she started stealing fentanyl, Donna completed an application with the DEA that allowed her to sign controlled substance orders. The room where the drugs were stored was sometimes unlocked, and Donna was able to enter without swiping her access card. Yale agreed to pay a $308,000 fine to settle these and other violations of the Controlled Substances Act.
