Is Green Growth Already Won?
Biden has just passed this enormous inflation relief act in the U.S., which provides kind of green incentives. It is probably the most significant piece of climate legislation passed there in my memory, although it's clearly a very imperfect one. But I suppose the thing that's interesting about it for this conversation is that it's so clearly keyed to the international discourse around green growth. The point at which we come to grips with that failure may be farther down the timeline than would be convenient to other efforts.
