The Transitional Period in the Book of Exodus

Exodus 12:40 reads a little bit like Israel's obituary, like like the end of, of someone's life. It was then that they lived in that land for X amount of years. This number for 130 years is going to be significant in the book of Ezekiel when Ezekiel lies on one side for the punishment of Judah and another side for the punished of Israel. And I think what Ezekiel is doing is saying this punishment that God's people is about to undergo is going to match their sojourn in Egypt. There will be a new exodus after this next period of punishment.
