The Secret Door to the Archives of the Royal Society
Until the past few weeks, large parts of the Royal Society's archives were strictly physical and stashed on library shelves or locked inside vaults. But they've been furiously digitising their collection of papers and letters so they're all just a couple of clicks away from any of us. Vic Gill wanted to get close up to see the real things. Going through the Marble Hall, which is really beautiful, but going through a secret door - it's quite surprising.
