The Importance of Noise in a Digital Town Square

I think the ultimate expression of it is that it be based upon a open protocol for his own sake and for the business. He's going to come into some tricky situations where he's going to be asked by various parties to derank or take down content. And if that is not completely open, he's just not going to earn trust. I would find it odd to air out grievances about the actual town square itself at a digital town square. So like if you truly want to complain about the architecture of the public square, change it. You actually have the potential to change it. But most importantly, the whole protocol wins. Everyone in the protocol, every other competing client win as well
