Scaling a Service Architecture
One of the problems I see some companies running into is deciding where to put service boundaries and how many services is the right number of services for this application. Sometimes companies when they move from a monolith to service architecture, they go too far. They make too many services that are too small. So there's kind of a sweet spot where your services are big enough that you don't create the cognitive load of the service interactions that occur but small enough that each individual service isn't really just a mini model with an end-to-end solution.
