The Importance of Women in American Life
I think women have an outsized influence on that kind of decision making, which follows from like a massive reorientation of how the family is structured. I mean most of these people are dual income families, which would not have necessarily been the case even a generation earlier. These things get sorted out in ways. There's just sort of like organically you don't have to negotiate this at the table it's just, there's like a set of expectations that come with that without a clear division of labor.
