Major Mike Kieran drove a van loaded with 150 pounds of explosives through the gerry docklands yesterday and jumped clear moments before it exploded. He deliberately drove the van into the river foil. The bomb exploded two minutes later, sending a huge mush of water and scattering debris from the van over a wide area. It's always strikes me that it's strange that people don't look... People don't go on holiday to places in the North the way they would an hour or two hours away from Dublin. Like, you know, Dublin people go to Wexford, they don't go to Frankfurt Lock. Yes. There's probably an element still.
