Train for Half Marathon by Time Plan

I worry that I'm not going to actually train up to the foot because often like stuff like couch to couch by K assumes you'll run a 5k and half an hour. At my fastest, my fast, my 5k time has been 32 minutes. So I worry about not being able not getting up to the distance in order to be half marathon ready if I go on a time based training plan. But that's the whole point of it. The whole point is to not worry about how many miles you're doing or how many Ks you're doing. And also bear in mind what Claire was saying in our last podcast about trail running - which I completely take to heart as well
