How to Write a Book a Year
I was writing two books a year quite happily back in 1995, 1996. As soon as we got kids, then a certain slowness sort of crept in. Then I also got to be chairman of the Crime Writers Association over here. That must have cost me about three books,. because there's just so many things to do at the time. The editing part, I hate it. If you're writing this much, do you just write? Are your first drafts final drafts? Well, yes and no.
