How to Avoid Cliches in Your Workplace

When I hear myself use a cliche, I roll my eyes immediately, right? Whether I write it or whether I say it. George Orwell was a great thinker on this subject. He wrote an essay called Politics in the English Language where he says exactly that. If we're just being lazy, rely on cliches, we don't exercise that muscle in our brain to create fresh original language.
