37% of US adults said they might ride in an autonomous vehicle in the future, and 34% said they would not. 17% believe that autonomous vehicles are as safe as cars driven by humans. More than half of Americans have not heard much about the crashes involving Tesla vehicles using Autopilot or federal government's investigation into this whole saga.
