Andy Warhol Up Tight
Edie Sedgwick performed with the Velvet Underground at Andy Warhol's psychiatrist dinner in 1966. The show was a hit, but it also made Edie feel like an accessory to his world. She played drums and sang three songs while Gerard would pretend to shoot up heroin on stage. Her affair with Lou Reed ended about six weeks or so after she joined the band.
