Is Space Settlement a Good Idea?
I actually have a whole chapter about whether we should settle space. I don't think there's a way for all of us to get together and agree what counts as being mature enough to deserve to go out into space. There's still the 10 year old inside me who just thinks it's neat. And I think that's what's important, is that we do things thoughtfully, deliberately, with a lot of conversations among humans.
