The Hagerty Curriculum: A Supplement to Phonics Instruction
The Hagerty curriculum teaches early basic and complex phonemic awareness skills in a really short amount of time. It should be used as an oral and auditory warmup to our phonics instruction, cluing students into this internal structure of language. We only work with syllables and phonemes in the yellow manual, but with kindergarten and pre K, we do start with those larger units of language.
