In 19 78 is when the courts in delivered the matura judgment in the rape case of a young woman called matura in mharasta. Four legal professors, open bakshi vasdada, gamer alotika sarkar and somebody called kilker wrote an open letter to the chief justice saying this is a travesty of justice. So that open letter acted as a catholis for a nation wide movement against rip and we were all drawn into it. And we took it round from place to place, performing and getting people's reactions and raising discussions. We did not even have land lines.
