Some people in the vegan community will say that by merely taking the B12 supplement because it's the one essential, uh, nutrient that we know that we can't get from plants. But what I'm taking away is that trying to basically play this cat and mouse game of various independent nutrients is an exercise in futility. For example, you could get all your nutrients if you just ate shellfish and like you can get way more of many of these nutrients from oysters than red meat.
