The Three gorges dam in China is the world's largest hydro electric plant. It can produce more energy than any other power plant on earth. The construction displaced roughly one point four million people. In 20 18, the dam generated 101 point six billion kilawat hours. That's enough electricity to power nearly two % of china for one year or to power new york city for almost two years.
