The Importance of Mentoring
In early 2008, my boss and another boss decided to spin out and start a broker dealer. On February 15, I got my bonus and on February 16, I quit. It was the day that Bear Stern stock got cut in half by 50% on the day that I resigned. We were very lucky to get this business up and running at that time because by the time others tried to do the same thing there was just no business for them to be done.
