Could Robots Be Better Than Humans at Assessing Children's Well Being?

New research suggests that robots could be better than humans at assessing children's well being. The team ued a child sized humanoid robot to ask a series of standard psychological questions and assess the mental well being of a small group of kids. And they found that children were willing to confide in the robot, and in some cases, say even more than they had when answering the questions on line or in person.
