The touring test was developed by Alan Turing in 1950 to see if humans could recognize whether there is a machine on the other side of the screen. Josh: I think machines are on the cusp of becoming these sort of perfect replacements for humans or these interfaces that we completely can't tell the difference from. And yet, our day-to-day experience shows us completely otherwise and generally fail pretty miserably beyond really narrow tasks.

Josh Clark enlightens us to everything we need to know about the current state of UX in AI. He takes us on an unsettling stroll through uncanny valley. He encourages us to let machines do what they're really good at, and humans do what they're really good at. He guides us into how to begin getting our hands dirty with AI/Machine-Learning.
