The Infra Red of Venus at Night
The parker solar probe managed to cut through the clouds in visible light and show us the surface of our our hot sister. That must have been exciting for you? Yes, really exciting. And honestly, surprised me, because we've known for a while that there are these bands in the near infar red that allow you to see the surface of venus at night from the thormal glow. But apparently there are windows that extend a little bit into the visible more than we thought or their instrument is going out into the infrared a little bit more than they thought.
