How to Set a Median Pressure for CPAP
Most machines now are auto titrating CPAP. The starting range they recommended to us was something like five to 15 centimeters water. And if you look and you see that the median pressure was 15 and they're still having an AHI that's greater than five, your goal is to get their AHI apnea hypopnea index to less than five. Then you can then you can raise the pressure. So you might go up to like eight dash 18 or something. It sounds like you can kind of make it up.
